Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Game Economy Designer to take ownership of Empires & Puzzles economy. You will be part of the Empires & Puzzles development team helping us to continue providing a great player experience for our players. You will design, analyze, and optimize the economic systems that drive player progression, retention, and monetization in Empires & Puzzles. 

 

What You'll Do: 

• Translate product and design vision into workable economy and balancing models, simulations, and resulting inputs, as well as feature designs and proposals that impact game success
• Take ownership of Empires & Puzzles economy and balance new and existing features.
• Develop, model and fine-tune in-game economic systems, including currencies, resource sources, sinks, rewards and acquisition rates.
• Work closely with our analytics team to monitor key economic KPIs, such as retention, conversion rates, and ARPU and identify and address potential economy imbalances, including currency inflation and resource scarcity.
• Collaborate with designers, developers and live-ops team to align economy design with overall game goals
• Design and create new tools to help you and the rest of the team succeed

 

What You Bring: 

• Several years of experience in game economy design in a live mobile game.
• Ability to clearly present complex game economy topics to broader audiences
• Good grasp of economy balancing in F2P games.
• Ability to deduce insights from multiple data points. 
• A very thorough understanding of Gacha mechanics.
• Experience in simulating the game economy

 

Bonus Points:

• Experience with Collectable Card Games and/or RPGs
• Experience in implementing economy simulations.
• Familiarity with game development tools such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
