As we continue to grow, we are excited to add a Director, Product Management-Data to our global team.

In this role, you will be responsible for owning the global data roadmap, defining and executing the global data product strategy, driving the development and enhancement of data-related products, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful data product launches and ongoing product success. You will work closely with executives to align the Data product portfolio with the broader company vision and goals. This role demands a strategic thinker with a strong ability to influence and collaborate at the executive level.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Product Strategy and Vision:
    • Develop and articulate a clear global product strategy and vision for the Data product portfolio, aligned with the company's overall strategic goals.
    • Identify customer needs to inform product strategy and differentiation.
  2. Product Development:
    • Collaborate with data engineering, architecture, and BI engineering teams to define product requirements, features, and functionality based on customer feedback
    • Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality product releases.
  3. Global Go-to-Market:
    • Work closely with regional teams to adapt the global product strategy to local markets while maintaining consistency across regions.
  4. Product Launch and Adoption:
    • Drive successful product launches in collaboration with data engineering, architecture, and BI engineering teams.
    • Monitor and analyze product adoption, collecting feedback from customers and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
  5. Cross-Functional Leadership:
    • Foster strong collaboration with cross-functional teams
    • Lead and influence without direct authority, ensuring alignment and commitment to the product vision.
  6. Performance Metrics:
    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess product success, monitor progress, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Regularly report on product performance to executive leadership and stakeholders.
  7. Customer Focus:
    • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points related to data products, using insights to prioritize feature development and enhancements.
  8. Risk Management:
    • Identify and address potential risks or challenges that could impact the success of the product portfolio.
    • Proactively develop mitigation strategies to ensure product goals are achieved.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in product management roles, with a focus on data-related products or technologies.
  • Strong understanding of data technologies, including data analytics, data integration, data governance, and data security.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Track record of successful product launches and achieving KPIs.
  • Ability to navigate a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong market and customer orientation, with the ability to translate customer needs into product features.
  • Experience in global product management, considering regional variations and requirements.
