**Please note this role is for a Fall (July to December) co-op or post-graduate internship.

The Ninja Test Kitchen (NTK) is looking for food-passionate and detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a creative and dynamic work environment. As a member of NTK, you will play a key role in defining new product development, product design, and brand story development. The intern will provide a unique, food-first point of view for the development of new products and recipes across our ambitious product roadmap.

 

Specifically, this position will be responsible for: 

· Partnering with our food scientists and research chefs to help with the successful product launches of new and cutting-edge products like our popular air fryers, coffee and espresso makers, Creami ice cream maker, grills and griddles, and more!

· Conducting culinary exploration on new products, competitors, and existing SKUs to build excitement around marketing and product strategy.

· Crafting hero recipes and pushing the limits of what’s possible on new-to-the world appliances.

· Conducting rigorous product testing, bringing a research mindset to performance evaluation of Ninja products.

· Meticulously recording and reporting on test results and clearly communicating with key stakeholders

· Assisting in the execution of guest chef summits and gathering expert feedback

· Attending internal and external events, as needed

 

Qualities we are looking for:

· An entrepreneurial mindset – you take ownership, drive projects forward and think creatively to bring the best products to market.

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on, highly iterative environment

· Collaborative team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, but also has the ability to dig to find answers to questions on more “individual” projects? We want you!

· Eager to learn and ask questions and willing to voice your opinion

· Able to manage multiple projects and tasks at once while meeting assigned deadlines

· Positive spirit and willingness to have fun at work!

 

Education and Experience

· Final year in Culinary Science, Culinology, Food Science or Product Development programs

· Restaurant or food service experience is a plus

· Prior internship experience a plus
