As a Senior Manager, Product Marketing at Shark, you will be a pivotal leader, driving the development and execution of the product roadmap and global go-to-market strategies within the Marketing organization. You will ensure a consistent brand voice across all channels, including packaging, advertising, social/content marketing, web properties, retail, and trade collateral. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates effectively, and can navigate barriers by building strong cross-functional relationships, ensuring product launch readiness and excellence both domestically and globally.

Responsibilities

Global Partnership:

  • Serve as a liaison and support for global teams, communicating the value proposition of our products and developing launch assets cross-functionally, including core messaging and packaging to support our products globally.

Category Leadership:

  • Rally cross-functional partners behind the goals of the category, helping teams translate ideas and insights into actionable plans and assets.

Messaging Validation:

  • Collaborate with consumer insights to execute and validate our messaging, story, and assets, leveraging those insights to deliver best-in-class assets for launch.

Global Marketing Launches:

  • Lead program management for go-to-market launches across categories, including fans and air purification.

Asset Development:

  • Oversee the execution of photo shoots, product pages, web content, digital and social advertising, influencer campaigns, PR, SEM, CRM, in-store displays, and other tactics.

Story Creation:

  • Lead early-stage marketing development across launch assets, email, product pages, store pages, and brand assets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and validate claims. Stay well-versed in category happenings and bring new thinking to the table.

Business Ownership:

  • Embody a sense of business ownership, ensuring cross-functional partners are aligned with category goals, insights, and messaging to bring our brand to life across all marketing channels and regions in a consistent and effective manner that drives high sales rates.

Troubleshooting and Creative Thinking:

  • Identify and implement creative solutions to obstacles, leveraging cross-functional expertise to drive resolution, ensuring speed to market and high sales rates.

  • Analytical mindset for mining data and drawing insights.
  • Ability to manage several projects in parallel, navigating a complex cross-functional matrix organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of marketing experience, preferably in CPG or consumer products, with responsibility for brand strategy, messaging, and product launch execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience in creative and media development and execution.
  • Proven track record in new product development and commercialization.
  • Global marketing experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in launching new products, preferably in a global role.
  • Understanding of the retail and DTC landscapes.
  • 3 days in-office per week in Needham, MA.
