The position of Senior Financial Analyst, Commercial Finance within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) department, will be responsible for working with Finance leadership, & cross-functional departments in the business. The primary responsibilities will include supporting the SharkNinja North America Retail organization, working closely with our sales & commercialization teams on pricing, promotional strategy & in-depth margin analysis. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, this position is part of a dynamic team that works in a fast-paced environment, where keen attention to detail and an ability to partner with the business is crucial to success.

Essential Functions

  • Key member of a Commercial FP&A team.
  • Drive development & implementation of internal reporting processes, including BI tools supporting:
    • Promotional investments
    • Transition & assortment planning
    • Margin analysis
  • Partner with sales & commercial leadership to support trade spend by activity & account.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop financial models for new business opportunities.
  • Drive internal process improvements and automation to allow the team to perform world-class analytics.
  • Build & generate analysis from a variety of different data sources and functional groups.
  • Create analysis and presentations that condense complex topics into actionable information that is communicated effectively to the business.
  • Manage weekly data analytics to support live-time business planning and promotional assessments.
  • Proactively drive ad hoc strategic analyses, special projects and other duties as assigned.

  • Product assortment & transition planning.
  • Business Partner for key retail account.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant work experience in Finance/Accounting.
  • Previous experience with budgeting and analysis, preferably in consumer products or manufacturing.
  • Objective oriented with a strong emphasis on business partnership and continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication and social skills, proven ability to partner cross-functionally.
  • Proven analytical and organizational skills, with strong accountability.
  • Self-starter with experience managing projects to tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly visible role with the ability to effectively partner with and/or challenge senior leadership.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills required, especially the need to have exceptional modeling skills in Excel.
