This individual will be responsible for leading commercial analytics, market insights, and category performance tracking across the UK and Nordics.

You’ll drive decision-making through actionable insight, strategic thought leadership, and data-driven recommendations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-focused environment and is eager to shape go-to-market plans in one of our most critical regions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Insight & Analysis

· Lead the development of high-impact sales and performance reporting, tracking KPIs across all categories and retail channels.

· Translate data into clear and actionable business narratives, influencing key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Finance.

· Act as the category and market expert for the Northern Europe region—owning the full view of performance, competitive landscape, pricing, promotions, and key trends.

· Conduct proactive and ad-hoc analyses to support strategic decisions, including scenario modelling and gap-opportunity assessments.

Strategy & Business Planning

· Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver the Plans to Win across categories, channels, and countries.

· Identify opportunities for growth through assortment optimisation, pricing strategy, promotional planning, and increased market penetration.

· Work closely with Sales leadership to influence customer engagement strategies, leveraging fact-based storytelling to win space, visibility, and incremental investment.

· Drive continuous improvement and data governance practices, ensuring data integrity and tool optimisation for SS&A functions.

Team Collaboration & Leadership

· Collaborate with local and global SS&A, Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams to connect insights to execution.

· Mentor and guide junior analysts within the team; foster a culture of curiosity, agility, and commercial excellence.

· Serve as the voice of the UK and Northern Europe markets within global SS&A meetings and initiatives.

CORE SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

· Proven ability to influence decision-making through data storytelling and commercial insight.

· Comfortable navigating ambiguity with a problem-solving, solution-first mindset.

· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong internal and external partnerships.

· A natural collaborator and communicator, able to bring others on the journey and lead through influence.

· Passionate about consumer behaviour, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).

· 4–6+ years in commercial, category, or sales analytics, ideally within FMCG or consumer goods.

· Experience working with syndicated data (e.g., IRI, Nielsen, GFK, NPD).

· Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView strongly preferred.
