We are looking for a passionate and driven Senior Trade Marketing Manager for an 8 month maternity cover to lead and oversee our France and Benelux Trade Marketing operations. 

The position is based in our Paris office, hybrid 3 days in the office.  

Prospective start date: Jan 2026

Overview 

You will play a critical role in shaping our go-to-market strategy, working cross-functionally to deliver compelling shopper experience and drive growth across all retail channels in France. 

Here are some of the EXCITING things you'll get to do:  

  • Team Leadership: Lead a high-performing team of 6, working closely with Sales to align on and execute joint business plans that drive revenue and market share. 
  • Strategic Planning: Build and execute a comprehensive Trade Marketing plan tailored to the French market, aligned with the overarching UK and EU marketing strategies. 
  • Retailer Collaboration: Own and drive Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key French retail partners. 
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Plan and implement launch strategies, in-store activations, and online campaigns aligned with SharkNinja’s brand positioning. 
  • Consumer Engagement: Develop creative and localized campaigns to increase product awareness, engagement, and in-store/online conversions. 
  • Events & Trade Shows: Identify, plan, and execute participation in relevant trade shows and retailer events that support revenue objectives. 
  • Point of Sale Optimization: Evaluate current POS tools and implement improvements; define and monitor key success metrics (e.g., NPS, DAS). 
  • Digital Retail Strategy: Lead the strategy and execution of Brand Shops and digital merchandising across e-retailer platforms. 
  • Retail Data Management: Ensure accurate and timely product data is provided to retail partners for listings and online experiences. 
  • Budget Ownership: Manage retailer coop budgets to support trade marketing initiatives and maximize ROI in collaboration with retail partners. 

Key Attributes & Skills: 

  • Experience: Minimum 10  years in Trade Marketing, ideally within the consumer goods or retail sector, including experience leading a team. 
  • Leadership: Proven track record of managing, mentoring, and motivating teams toward shared goals. 
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Agile mindset with the ability to pivot quickly. 
  • Communication: Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, fluent in both French and English. 
  • Collaboration: Excellent stakeholder management skills; ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams. 
  • Creativity & Innovation: Passion for finding creative ways to drive consumer engagement and sales. 
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Proactive and self-motivated, with a high level of ownership and accountability. 
  • Global Perspective: Experience working in a global matrix structure is a plus
