About The Role: 

SharkNinja is looking for a self-motivated Senior Technical Project Manager (STPM) to join the NPD group. 

The STPM is the ‘glue’ within the team, aligning project direction and decision points with key members from all business disciplines and will work as a partner to the design manager/engineers with joint responsibility for delivering NPD product(s) to market. 

The STPM is responsible for the ‘WHAT’ that is being delivered, design manager/engineers are responsible for ‘HOW’ this is delivered.  

The STPM will be able to understand complex technical challenges and be able to relay information to non-technical cross-functional teams. The candidate will be also able to support the project team on some technical activities. They will need to show good listening and influencing skills, with the confidence to achieve collaborative working relationships. 

Here are some of the exciting things you'll be doing: 

  • Delivering 5* products to market (best in class product) 
  • Ensure global teams are aligned on project direction (right product) 
  • Ensure project schedules are up to date, progressing to plan and meet retailer requirements (right time) 
  • Ensure global teams are up to date on project status and key issues/risks (stakeholders bought in) 
  • Work as a part of the Engineering/TPM team. 
  • Significant experience of managing a project through the entire lifecycle 
  • Significant experience in regular presentations to senior stakeholders 
  • Experience in budget management 
  • Experience in plastics or consumer goods household appliances desirable 
  • Uses Microsoft Office Suite to a high level. 
  • Flexible and collaborative - these are key to success at SharkNinja. 
  • Positive demeanour with an entrepreneurial nature 

Here are some of the things you'll bring: 

  • 5+ years’ experience in project management or engineering role - project management experience preferred 
  • Experience of managing a project(s) through the entire lifecycle - preferably plastics or consumer products experience 
  • Engineering background 
  • Hands-on approach 
  • Presentation/Communication skills 
  • Skilled in Microsoft office user, including Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Experience in regular presentations to senior stakeholders - board of directors/executive team experience desirable 
  • Experience of working in fast paced, challenging environment 
  • A technical understanding of manufacturing processes and limits 
  • Solid works or CREO experience a plus 
  • Experience in budget management desirable but non-essential

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is displayed below. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Pay Range

$89,300 - $166,800 USD
