ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Director, Business Transformation is a senior enterprise leader responsible for converting strategic ambition into measurable, repeatable business outcomes. Operating as a trusted advisor to the ELT and a key orchestrator of the enterprise transformation agenda, this leader aligns strategy, structure, processes, and capabilities — including AI-enabled ways of working — to accelerate value creation and strengthen SharkNinja’s global operating model.

This role requires exceptional systems thinking, executive influence, and the ability to mobilize cross-functional teams to deliver improvements in throughput, cost, speed, and organizational effectiveness. The Senior Director drives transformation not only by solving problems, but by building durable mechanisms, mindsets, and operating rhythms that raise performance across the enterprise.

This role can be based out of Needham, MA or New York City, NY.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: ENTERPRISE STRATEGY, EXECUTION, AND ALIGNMENT

Strategic Leadership & Enterprise Alignment

  • Translate corporate strategy into a prioritized portfolio of transformation and productivity initiatives, including identifying and sizing AI-driven opportunity areas across the enterprise.
  • Lead complex, enterprise-scale initiatives that improve productivity, simplify workflows, and remove systemic barriers to throughput.
  • Diagnose structural, process, and capability gaps across functions; design scalable, sustainable solutions with clear owners and mechanisms.
  • Organize and facilitate cross-functional problem-solving sessions (“hacks”), workshops, and design sessions to unlock priority outcomes.
  • Partner with our Business and Tech leaders to define and steward a prioritized AI enablement roadmap — identifying high-ROI use cases, partnering with tech and functional leads on adoption, and building organizational capability to work effectively alongside AI tools.

Enterprise Performance Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Serve as a strategic advisor on efficiency and performance improvement levers.
  • Diagnose systemic productivity barriers across processes and functions.
  • Partner with functional leads to deliver annual OpEx and SG&A productivity improvements.
  • Embed productivity mechanisms, standardized processes, and scalable best practices — including AI-powered tools and workflows — that strengthen organizational efficiency.
  • Design and implement KPI frameworks, dashboards, and governance structures to measure value creation and drive continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders to influence direction, resolve organizational friction, and accelerate alignment.
  • Drive execution against initiatives through structured workstreams, KPIs, and execution plans that drive measurable business results.  Provide thought leadership and drive momentum.
  • Establish enterprise-wide operating rhythms that reinforce accountability, transparency, and rapid decision-making that sustain “beyond the project”.
  • Partner with IT, Operations, Product Development, Finance, and other key business functions to identify, pilot, and scale AI and automation use cases that drive measurable productivity gains and build lasting AI fluency across the organization.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 12+ years in business transformation, consulting, performance improvement, or similar strategic leadership roles.
  • Proven track record leading enterprise-scale, cross-functional transformation initiatives with quantifiable outcomes.
  • Strong financial acumen; comfort translating P&L and balance sheet drivers into operational levers.
  • Expertise in KPI design, operating rhythms, productivity measurement, and performance governance.
  • Hands-on experience driving AI adoption and automation in a business context — from use case identification and vendor/tool evaluation through change management and measured ROI. Enterprise AI deployment experience strongly preferred.
  • Fluency with the current AI tools landscape (e.g., enterprise copilots, workflow automation, generative AI for productivity) and the ability to translate AI capabilities into business cases and adoption roadmaps.
  • Exceptional communication, synthesis, executive presence, and the ability to simplify complexity for decision-makers.
  • Consumer products experience a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

HOW YOU’LL LEAD WITH SHARKNINJA’S SUCCESS DRIVERS

  • Progress Over Perfection: You’ll help teams move quickly, learn from small failures, and continue making incremental improvements that drive transformation.
  • Details Make the Difference: Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure processes are streamlined and every consumer interaction is positively impacted.
  • Winning is a Team Sport: You’ll collaborate with multiple departments, ensuring that cross-functional teams work together seamlessly to achieve SharkNinja’s goals.
