Social Sharks: Social Editing Associate — AI & Creative Innovation (Early Careers)

About the Role 

We're looking for a curious, tool-obsessed Social Editing person to join our Social Team in London. This is a hands-on role for someone early in their career who's excited to push the boundaries of what AI can do for social-first creative — from concept to finished edit. You'll be experimenting daily with the newest AI editing and generation tools to build bespoke, scroll-stopping content that couldn't exist without them. 

What You'll Do 

AI-Powered Creative 

• Prototype and produce bespoke social content using AI image, video, and editing tools — including Higgsfield, Runway, Pika, Kling, and Adobe Firefly — to create effects, transformations, and formats not achievable through traditional editing. 

• Write and refine prompts across image, video, and voice generation tools — treating prompt construction as a craft. Know how to iterate a prompt to get a specific look, motion, or tone rather than accepting the first output. 

• Build and maintain a prompt library — reusable, tested prompt structures for recurring formats (product hero shots, style transfers, transformations) so quality doesn't reset every time someone new touches the tool. 

• Understand each tool's actual capabilities and failure points well enough to prompt around them — knowing what Runway does well versus Kling versus Higgsfield, and writing prompts accordingly instead of using one generic prompt everywhere. 

• Build a working library of AI editing techniques (motion effects, style transfers, product visualizations, AI voiceover/dubbing) that can be applied across Shark and Ninja content. 

• Partner with the social and content teams to turn briefs into AI-enhanced edits for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube. 

• Stay ahead of the AI creative tool landscape — testing new releases, features, and platforms as they launch, and flagging what's worth adopting. 

Production & Workflow 

• Support editors and creators by applying AI tools to speed up raw footage organization, rough cuts, captioning, and localization. 

• Help scale content across markets by using AI dubbing/translation tools to adapt English content into other European languages efficiently. 

• Assist on shoots where needed, with an eye toward what can be enhanced or extended using AI in post. 

• Document workflows and build simple how-to guides so AI editing techniques can be shared across the wider social and content team — organic through paid. 

• Support light performance reporting to help identify which AI-enhanced formats are driving engagement. 

Competitive and Cultural Intelligence 

• Track how competitor brands and top creators are using AI in social content — not to copy, but to spot what's becoming a cliché fast (three months ago "AI transformation" edits were novel, now they're a genre). Flag when a format is about to feel dated. 

What You Bring 

• Genuine enthusiasm for AI creative tools — you're already experimenting with things like Higgsfield, Runway, Midjourney, CapCut's AI features, or similar, even if just for fun. 

• An eye for social trends and formats, with a sense for where AI can make content feel more original rather than more generic. 

• Basic video editing skills (Premiere, CapCut, or similar) and comfort picking up new software quickly. 

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in media, communications, marketing, film, or a related field. 

• Organized and reliable, able to manage multiple experiments and deliverables at once. 

• Bonus: fluency in a second European language (French, German, Italian, or Spanish). 

• Based in or able to work from London.
