Warehouse Management & Inventory Systems Analyst
Massillon, OH (Hybrid Schedule)
Role Contribution Level 3
This position oversees and maintains Warehouse Management System (WMS) performance for operations and makes necessary changes to the setup in maintaining an efficient warehouse operations system
Your Seat at the Table:
- Specifies information flows, processes and procedures, and data between information systems and their users.
- Communicate with management and employees to determine system requirements.
- Undertakes and documents all work in accordance with agreed standards and using prescribed methods and tools.
- Create technical support documentation and keep it updated (Standard Operating Procedures, One Point Lessons, etc).
- Conducts daily systems checks to ensure WMS performance to ensure smooth running of operations.
- Provide front line support for the information utilized in WMS.
- Develop end user training, scheduling, and execution.
- Conduct On-The-Job training for existing and/or new hire employees who have no prior knowledge/skill in performing a new task.
- Receives, resolves, and responds to communications on systems issues.
- Assist with application support, handling escalating issues, answering calls, and resolving various technical issues as needed
- Handles, investigates, and resolves inventory or systemic discrepancies.
- Acts as first point of contact for Operations on any systems related issues and resolves them.
- Troubleshoot and assist with various applications and resolve issues.
- Effectively resolves problems and roadblocks before they occur.
- Coordinate with operations personnel to plan application system upgrades, migrate to new systems, and test software for end-users.
- Identify and leverage opportunities to continually strive for data integrity in all applications, processes, documentation, and standards.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a warehousing, distribution, or logistics environment
- Proven expertise with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including system configuration, implementation, location mapping, user training, and daily system oversight
- Experience supporting WMS upgrades and resolving system issues or overrides in real-time
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on process improvement and system optimization
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with data visualization or reporting tools is a plus
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Solid time management and organizational abilities; capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings or weekends, to support operational needs and system deployments
