Load Planning Supervisor
Onsite: Massillon, OH
Schedule: M-F Swing Shift
Role Contribution Level 3
Position Summary:
This Supervisor role is responsible for overseeing the planning and coordinating of all activities related to load planning while delivering warehouse workflow efficiency and the overall Supply Chain operations within the organization.
Your Seat at the Table:
- Coordinating team schedule, vacation, and holiday coverage
- Verifying site audits completed daily for verification and efficiency
- One on one conversations with direct reports
- Lead, train and mentor a team of Load Planners
- Performance reviews
- Measure and monitor KPI goals and skills matrix
- Accountability of team functions and processes
- Assisting in SOP updates or new implementations
- Supervise planning of shipments and dock schedules
- Take company standards, best practices, and ensure execution through their team and development metrics as needed to measure performance
- Assist team members in daily activities when needed
- Assist in change management with the department
What You Bring to the Table:
- Minimum of three years’ experience in Logistics and or Warehousing.
- Leadership experience required.
- Flexible on schedule and hours per business needs
- Excellent skills in communication, including written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Excellent time management, organization, and leadership skills.
- Ability to drive process improvement and lead change.
- Computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Strong technical/analytic/critical thinking skills
- Flexibility with potential travel
- Flexibility with potential holiday coverage
