Position Summary 

We’re seeking a full-time Senior Accountant for our Los Angeles-based corporate office. SHEIN’s corporate Accountant drives growth and profitability through strategic operational leadership and operates financial efficiencies. 

 Job Responsibilities 

  • Gather, prepare, test, reconcile and maintain adequate documentation to support monthly accounting records through the OA Process.
  • Review and identify accounts payable processing errors.
  • Ensure the current workflows are designed to maximize internal controls and efficiency.
  • Assist US controller to work on different ad hoc projects and continuingly improve US operation efficiency.
  • Set up the internal control environment and document control matrix and assess the control risks and report the material weaknesses and significant deficiencies to US controller.
  • Coach other junior accountants to work as a team to complete the designed works.
  • Prepare and review accounting entries in Oracle Fusion system. 

 Job Requirements 

  • BA/BS in Accounting/Finance strongly preferred. Or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5-8 years relevant experience in corporate accounting and/or accounts payable.
  • Understanding of concepts of accrual accounting.
  • Top notch Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a track record of identifying errors prior to going though progression.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.
  • Strong organization, time management, and task prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and resolve problems.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and shift priorities during a compressed timeframe.

$80,000 - $95,000 USD
