Position Summary 

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Buying/Product Director to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for launching a new brand/product line, strategically setting the DNA, storyline, narrative of the brand.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong sense of aesthetic, excellent communication abilities and team management, and a deep understanding of the latest fashion trends and best practices.

 Job Responsibilities 

  • Manage categories operations, including controlling new product launch rhythm, planning events, traffic management, and promoting marketing initiatives
  • Develop and execute a merchandise assortment plan for assigned categories to meet financial targets.
  • Engage in OTB meetings with the Planning team to meet sales, profitability, and inventory turnover goals.
  • Forge and nurture strong vendor relationships, seeking new partnerships that bolster SHEIN's product offerings.
  • Oversee visual shooting and implementation in the category, ensuring visual effects meet style expectations.
  • Continuously analyze market trends across social media platforms and competitor landscapes.

 Job Requirements 

  • 10+ years of experience in Buying, preferably within an e-commerce fashion or apparel industry.
  • A track record of successful vendor negotiations, emphasizing product quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace for effective data analysis and presentation.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Fashion, Production, Design, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Strong prioritization, project management, organizational skills, and keen attention to detail.

$240,700 - $407,500 USD
