Position Summary
Join SHEIN’s Global Security Engineering team to build robust, scalable, and secure AI solutions that protect global operations across cloud and on-prem environments. You will own work end to end—architecture, implementation, deployment, and operations—while collaborating closely with security partners to automate and elevate SecOps. Expect to design AI-driven threat management capabilities that unify asset tracking, threat observability, vulnerability management, incident response, and detection. You will work across frontend and backend with AI integration, and support onsite and remote environments.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and architect AI/automation solutions for complex enterprise network and security applications.
- Design and ship responsive, intuitive AI interfaces that accelerate SecOps workflows and decision-making.
- Build and operate AI components and microservices that integrate with REST APIs for efficiency, observability, and security.
- Lead as an individual contributor security initiatives, including technology evaluation and solution design.
- Ensure security by design; implement and enforce information security best practices aligned with industry standards and applicable laws.
- Deploy and integrate AI solutions with leading enterprise platforms; drive reliable rollout, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Sustain high-availability services; meet business-wide SLOs and operational support objectives with strong observability and incident response.
- Collaborate cross-functionally; produce clear runbooks, procedures, and platform documentation for repeatable operations.
- Support both onsite and cloud systems; provide remote support to distributed offices and environments as needed.
Job Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant AI experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in one or more scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Bash).
- Hands-on experience with ML frameworks and libraries: OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Detectron2.
- Knowledge of design, implementation, maintenance, and operations on AWS, or comparable cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).
- Practical understanding of industry IT/security standards and regulations; able to embed security and privacy into system design.
- Experience building AI-powered user interfaces that improve SecOps usability and outcomes.
- Proven ability to develop AI microservices that interact with REST APIs; automate for performance, observability, and security.
- Track record of integrating and deploying AI with enterprise applications; owning rollout, validation, and monitoring.
- Clear, current documentation and runbooks; disciplined change-management with status and key metrics reporting.
- Ability to work with highly technical teams and sensitive information with discretion, integrity, sound judgment, and maturity.
- Operated services to defined SLOs with incident handling and mitigation in production environments.
Nice to Have
- Proven end-to-end AI solution design and implementation (from prototype to production).
- Experience building GenAI RAG applications using Langchain; GenAI observability tooling such as Langfuse.
- Experience with microservice design, including observability, canary/blue-green rollout, and rollback.
- SSO, SAML, and IdP integration experience (e.g., Azure AD).
- Background in security, compliance, data loss prevention, and/or governance.

Pay Range
$102,000 - $166,800 USD
