Senior Manager, Business Transformation (Healthcare | Specialty Pharmacy | Consulting Backgrounds Welcome)
Compensation: $135,000 – $145,000 base + bonus + benefits
Location: Remote (U.S.) with travel, including to Boston, MA
Why This Role
This is a high-impact leadership role for candidates coming from management consulting, healthcare strategy, or complex implementation environments who want to drive enterprise-level transformation.You will lead and scale multi-site, highly complex healthcare implementations, partnering directly with senior stakeholders and executives to shape strategy, drive execution, and deliver lasting operational change across health systems.
What You’ll Do- Lead end-to-end execution of large-scale specialty pharmacy and healthcare transformation programs
- Own program strategy, governance, and execution across multiple concurrent implementations
- Act as central PMO lead, driving alignment across clinical, IT/EMR, AI, 340B, payer, and operational workstreams
- Partner with executive stakeholders (internal and external) to drive decision-making and ensure successful outcomes
- Oversee go-live readiness, execution, and post-launch optimization
- Identify and solve complex operational challenges, balancing short-term milestones with long-term scalability
- Build and refine playbooks, frameworks, and standardized processes to scale implementations across the organization
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of new technologies (including AI/automation)
- 4-6+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, strategy, or implementation roles
- Strong experience leading large, complex, cross-functional programs end-to-end
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent implementations across teams and stakeholders
- Experience working directly with senior leaders and influencing without authority
- Deep understanding of healthcare operations, pharmacy, or clinical workflows
- Advanced project/program management and problem-solving skills
- Management consulting background (Big 4 or boutique)
- Experience in specialty pharmacy, 340B, or outpatient clinical programs
- Familiarity with EMR systems and healthcare technology integrations
- Experience building or scaling PMO structures or implementation frameworks
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, MBA, MHA, or similar
- Successful execution of complex, multi-site program launches on time and at scale
- Strong executive stakeholder alignment and partner satisfaction
- High adoption of workflows with minimal operational disruption
- Development of scalable, repeatable implementation models that improve speed-to-launch
- Effective oversight of multiple high-priority initiatives without sacrificing quality
