Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to help accelerate and advance our SkyTab POS product. The ideal candidate will have deep technical and functional point of sale expertise with ability to define requirements and lead development teams from ideation to successful delivery. This leader will be responsible for driving the product strategy, ensuring the highest standards of quality, and enhancing the customer experience. This role demands a leader who can articulate clear direction, inspire and motivate teams, and deliver products with exceptional speed and quality.

The Product Manager for SkyTab Back Office & Reporting will focus on enhancing key functionality in the SkyTab back office environment, Lighthouse Business Manager (LBM). The manager must provide ongoing product improvement in the overall useability of the LBM platform for SkyTab-specific above-store functionality, as well as the SkyTab reporting capabilities in LBM.

This role involves developing solutions and strategies to increase user adoption of the cloud management platform. Responsibilities include prioritizing merchant experience focused development, optimizing and refining the SkyTab POS reporting suite, cross-functional collaboration between all Product owners within the SkyTab environment, strategic product planning, and hands-on product management to ensure actionable, accurate reporting, and an intuitive user experience for managing SkyTab POS.

The success in fulfilling the responsibilities of this role will be measured by an ongoing series of success criteria, with incremental goals.  The initial criteria defined below for each responsibility will be amended and altered periodically to provide complete alignment and accountability for achieving success.

Reporting Accuracy and Alignment: Ensure the overall stability and accuracy of all SkyTab reporting and execute a strategic vision for alignment and unification of SkyTab reporting between Lighthouse and SkyTab Business Intelligence.  

Success Criteria: Decrease overall inbound requests for reporting enhancements / corrections by 50% within 6 months  

Strategic Ownership For SkyTab Back Office Capabilities : Lead the development and growth of Lighthouse Business Manager as a comprehensive POS configuration and management tool, aligned with core POS growth plans and strategy. 

Success Criteria: Increase LBM MAU by 30% within 6 months, adjusted for overall new merchant growth

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, development, commercial and external partners to drive expansion initiatives. Ensure alignment of reporting initiatives meets with reliability mandates. Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to close gaps in configuration from above store.

Success Criteria: Develop and execute within 3 months, ongoing process to involve LBM in initiatives to ensure above store development in reporting or configuration is central to all ongoing SkyTab development.  

Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track and analyze the performance of reporting and configuration initiatives. Prepare regular reports for senior leadership on progress, challenges, and opportunities. Adjust strategies based on performance data and market feedback.

Success Criteria: Develop analytics tool in collaboration with product analytics team to properly track overall performance success and identify new opportunities / areas of improvement within 3 months.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in product management roles, with a focus on hospitality technology ecosystem management and point of sale operations
  • Experience in data presentation, visualization, and reporting
  • Excellent strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with point of sale applications specific to food & beverage establishments, and a comprehensive understanding of food & beverage operations as they relate to point of sale.
