Compensation Analyst

The Compensation Analyst supports the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs that align with the organization’s pay philosophy and business goals. This role conducts market analysis, manages salary survey participation, supports job evaluations, and provides data-driven recommendations to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
This position requires 4 days on-site in our Atlanta, GA office.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze market data and internal salary data to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices
- Participate in and manage compensation surveys to benchmark roles across geographies and job families
- Evaluate new and existing job descriptions, determining appropriate job levels and salary ranges
- Support the annual compensation planning process, including merit increases, promotions, and bonus planning
- Assist in developing salary structures and pay bands for various countries or business units
- Provide compensation analysis and modeling to support offers, promotions, and other pay decisions
- Partner with HRBPs and Talent Acquisition on compensation guidance for internal and external offers
- Monitor regulatory changes and compliance requirements (e.g., pay transparency laws, FLSA, EU pay directives).
- Support compensation communication and training materials for leaders and employees
- Assist in building compensation dashboards, tools, and models to support reporting and decision-making
- Contribute to global and regional compensation projects, including system implementations and process improvements
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, or a related discipline
- Strong analytical and Excel skills; experience with data modeling and compensation tools (e.g., Radford, Workday, Mercer) is a plus
- Familiarity with job evaluation methodologies (e.g., leveling guides, career frameworks)
- Ability to interpret compensation data and present insights clearly
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data analysis
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working in a global, fast-paced, or high-growth environment is a plus
