Summary
Shift4 is seeking an Account Executive to join our Inside Sales team. We’re looking for a dynamic candidate with a proven track record in team management, building strong partner relationships, and coaching in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you’ll support daily team operations and provide leadership while embodying the core principles of the Shift4 Way.
Responsibilities
- Engage with potential merchants to assess, and address, their payment processing needs.
- Support the creation and execution of operational processes for the Integrated Partners EM team through different verticals.
- Lead onboarding and training initiatives for new team members.
- Serve as the primary escalation contact for the Integrated Partners EM team.
- Manage a select portfolio of Partner offices to maintain strong relationships and performance.
- Consistently project a positive and professional image to sales partners and prospective clients.
- Clearly communicate and demonstrate the benefits of Shift4 Payments’ products and services.
- Maintain regular contact with sales partners through email, phone calls, and in-person meetings.
- Drive personal and team success by developing and executing effective sales strategies.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of documentation, including new account paperwork and sales reports.
- Facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration by coordinating seamlessly with multiple departments and divisions to support organizational objectives.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industry experience.
- Established record of continually meeting and exceeding goals and corporate standards.
- Established record of acting with professionalism and courtesy, especially when working with other teammates and departments.
- Ability to work in a group setting, contribute ideas for further growth and direction of department.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills, especially with email and tasks.
- Ability to work with and effectively use multiple companywide systems and departments with ease.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members as well as other departments.
- Ability to problem solve and implement solutions.
- Valid driver’s license along with reliable transportation.
