Reporting to the Director of Financial & Regulatory Reporting, Europe, the Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst will support the team in preparing entity-level regulatory reports for both domestic & cross border requirements, while also assisting in the development of prudential reporting frameworks and requirements.
Responsibilities will include:
- Lead the preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reporting requirements ensuring full compliance with MFSA and other supervisory authority requirements.
- Deliver accurate domestic reports (e.g., BR06, MFSA Financial Institution Return, PSS) and cross-border submissions for other jurisdictions;
- Contribute to research and analysis of jurisdiction-specific reporting obligations, identifying required data points, defining reporting logic, and maintaining full ownership of the process from scoping through to submission;
- Support group-wide reporting activities, ensuring consistency, accuracy and compliance across both local and global entities;
- Develop, analyse and interpret financial projections and prudential metrics to support strategic planning, capital adequacy assessments, winding down planning, and stress testing exercises for Shift4 regulated business;
- Analyse data from internal and external sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all reporting data fields;
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and control enhancement to strengthen reporting governance and operational efficiency;
- Proactively escalate key compliance or data issues, providing actionable insights and recommendations to management to ensure timely resolution.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Possess a University Degree in Accounting/Banking/Finance or similar equivalent qualifications.
- Three or four years’ relevant working experience, preferably in a bank/financial institution or statistical/regulatory environment, is considered an asset, although training will be provided.
- Analytic experience in data mining considered an asset.
- Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications, mainly Excel including creating tables, writing queries, data manipulation and quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Team player, with a positive mindset, excellent communication skills and with a can-do attitude.
- Possess strong analytical skills, quality-oriented attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
Compensation:
Shift4 applies a structured, market-informed approach to compensation.
Salary ranges are developed based on objective, gender-neutral criteria, such as internal job levels, scope of responsibilities, and external market data. The range listed for this position reflects the expected hiring range for qualified candidates and corresponds to the level and requirements of the role.
Actual compensation may vary depending on various factors, such as experience, skills, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Shift4’s compensation structures are subject to periodic review and ongoing alignment across regions. Additional components such as variable remuneration or other benefits may also apply based on eligibility and role type.
Salary Range: € 50,000 - € 55,000
