Program Manager, Junior - Growth Solutions

 

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Junior Program Manager – API Coordinator to support our Growth Solutions Product Team. This role is ideal for someone who is excited about APIs, project coordination, and driving cross-functional alignment. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating API lifecycle management, documenting integration requirements, and helping deliver solutions that drive business growth.

This role is onsite and can be based at either of the following Shift4 locations: Center Valley, PA or Las Vegas, NV

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, tracking, and delivering API-driven initiatives within the growth product portfolio.
  • Maintain and update project trackers, dashboards, and communication plans.
  • Coordinate project schedules, deliverables, and task assignments across technical and business teams.
  • Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and stand-ups with product and engineering.
  •  Work with product and engineering teams to track API requests, changes, and versioning.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and ensure consistent documentation.
  • Maintain internal knowledge bases for API endpoints, specs, change logs, and usage guidelines.
  • Act as the liaison between product, engineering, support, sales, and external partners regarding API-related programs.
  • Support internal and external communications about API rollouts, timelines, and deprecations.
  • Monitor and escalate risks or blockers impacting delivery timelines.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on program progress, adoption metrics, and partner feedback.
  • Assist in evaluating API performance and partner implementation status.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in program coordination, project management, product support, or technical operations.
  • Self-motivated and independent work ethic, with the desire to train and assist others
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Work independently with minimal direction
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle stress, prioritize tasks and work under shifting deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Google suite (Drive, Sheets, Docs)
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana, or Trello).
  • Ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to remain organized but flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion at all times
  • Flexibility in a dynamically changing environment, acknowledging urgency when necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with Program Management, Business/Office Administration, or related fields.  
  • Any Certification is beneficial, but not required (Microsoft Office, Google Suites, etc)
  • Experience in payment processing systems / POS
  • Experience with customer-based interactions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
