The Shift4 Onboarding Operations team is responsible for delivering a fast and frictionless customer onboarding, enabling our customers to process payments and use our services in accordance with their agreement, whilst maintaining compliance and alignment with company and regulatory requirements. We are seeking detail-oriented and dynamic professionals to join our cross-functional Onboarding Operations team. In this role, you will be empowered to handle the foundational tasks across the entire merchant onboarding lifecycle, from initial system entry and compliance checks to account configuration and ongoing maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Execute the initial entry of new customer applications and details into core operational systems to formally begin the onboarding process
- Perform preliminary checks on application forms to ensure completeness and flag any missing required information before further processing
- Complete foundational Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) checks
- Conduct basic sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks using designated tools and escalate any potential risks or red flags
- Set up and configure accounts within various processing platforms to enable the products and services the customer has subscribed to
- Process and track hardware (POS/terminal) orders for shipment to our customers
- Process routine changes to existing merchant accounts, such as (but not limited to) address changes, banking updates, or product configuration changes
- Strive to complete all tasks accurately and within established and agreed timescales
- Other ad-hoc duties that may be required by the management team.
Requirements:
- Have a basic understanding of technology or have the desire to learn
- Be able to analyse data to identify trends or spot issues
- Having previous customer handling experience will be considered an asset
- Have good interpersonal skills for building relationships with colleagues at all levels
- Take ownership and responsibility for all required duties
- Display calmness under pressure and can react quickly and efficiently
- Be flexible and able to work with minimal supervision
- Possess excellent written & oral English
- Be computer literate; experience in Microsoft Excel will be considered an asset.

Salary range 1575 - 1650 EUR gross/month.
