The HR Operations Specialist is a frontline contributor to Shift4’s People Operations team, delivering Tier 1 employee support and ensuring seamless HR processes. This role balances global HR operational excellence with Lithuanian-specific compliance and administration, playing a pivotal role in both HRIS management and local legal HR requirements. You will serve as the primary point of contact for HR inquiries, manage transactions in the HRIS, and oversee administrative tasks related to Lithuanian labor law, contracts, benefits, and employee records. In addition, you’ll analyse support data, streamline processes, and recommend improvements to enhance employee experience and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the intake, triage, and resolution of HR inquiries in the help desk ticketing system (policies, benefits, onboarding, timekeeping, HRIS navigation).
- Identify recurring issues, update knowledge base content, and drive self-service adoption.
- Partner with Tier 2 HR and Centers of Excellence on escalations, providing context and suggesting process improvements.
- Draft, issue, and manage all employment contracts, amendments, terminations, and other documentation.
- Maintain accurate personnel records (digital and physical), ensuring compliance with labor legislation and audit requirements.
- Administer benefits (e.g., health insurance), ensuring eligibility tracking, employee communication, and provider coordination.
- Manage absence and leave cases.
- Support foreign hiring processes for TRP, Visas, and Residence permits, and liaise with Lithuanian authorities.
- Assist with the drafting of local HR Policies, ensuring compliance with changing labor legislation.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to pilot new tools, define requirements, and measure impact.
Requirements:
- HR Operations Knowledge: Solid understanding of HR systems and employee lifecycle practices.
- HRIS Expertise: Confident and efficient in system navigation and data administration.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to spot patterns in data and propose scalable solutions.
- Customer-Centricity: Clear communication, empathy, and service-first mentality.
- Process Orientation: Eagerness to question the status quo and suggest better ways of working.
- Confidentiality & Judgment: Trusted to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Compliance: Solid knowledge of Lithuanian labour law and HR compliance.
- Fluent in English and Lithuanian.

Salary starts at 2300 EUR gross/month, depending on your experience and qualifications.
