Role Description:
The Onboarding and Growth Manager, Powered By, is responsible for managing and growing our largest Powered By partners, specifically 3PLs. This individual is an integral part of ShipBob’s Partnerships function and is responsible for the onboarding, troubleshooting and expansion of new and existing Powered By opportunities.
Powered By ShipBob is a new business unit started in 2023, poised to drive significant revenue as a strategic function of our business for 2025 and beyond.
Powered By partners seek a complimentary service, like ShipBob’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ShipBob Logistics (SBL) as a core part of their business to enable them to execute on their core competencies and drive savings. The partner is our direct customer, and the partner owns the relationship with their brands.
What you’ll do:
- Onboarding: Responsible for onboarding new Powered By 3PLs
- You will leverage internal teams and processes to onboard these merchants and sellers in an efficient and scalable manner
- Merchant Performance: Manage the performance and relationship for the onboarding 3PLs up until 6-12 weeks post-launch
- You will ensure successful onboarding of all systems
- You will ensure that the 3PLs are trained on the solutions (WMS and/or SBL)
- You will ensure that we're meeting expectations and SLAs for the 3PLs
- Project Management: Lead cross-functional project execution from planning through to post-launch optimization
- You will ensure project timelines, milestones, and deliverables are clearly defined and met
- You will facilitate alignment across stakeholders through recurring touchpoints and clear communication
- You will identify risks and proactively remove blockers to ensure smooth execution and onboarding
- Coaching: Support team development through guidance, feedback, and skill-building
- You will provide coaching and mentorship to new team members or partners to ensure clarity on roles and expectations
- You will lead regular check-ins to provide feedback and support performance growth
- You will create documentation and share best practices to foster a culture of continuous learning
- Process Building: Design and implement repeatable systems to support scalable growth
- You will build and refine SOPs to increase operational efficiency and reduce errors
- You will partner with stakeholders to identify gaps in current workflows and design improved processes
- You will establish success metrics and feedback loops to drive continuous improvement and accountability
- Subject matter Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert for all things Supply Chain for 3PLs, WMS and ShipBob Logistics
- Other duties/responsibilities as necessary.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years in a merchant facing role (Business Development, Account Management, Implementation)
- Established track record of success as a department/function leader and manager of other managers.
- Culture carrier and positive influence with the ability to positively motivate others.
- Understanding of sales metrics and their application to measure success.
- High level of initiative with a ‘get it done’ attitude and great sense of teamwork.
- Comfortable embracing change and more importantly, failure, and learning as we go.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Salesforce, Outreach, and other sales tools.

ShipBob believes in transparency while providing a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance approach. We are targeting a base salary of $105,000 for this role. The full base pay range for this position in our architecture is $66,140 - $110,141. In addition to base salary, this role includes the opportunity to be eligible for participation in the Company's discretionary bonus plan based on Company's plans and in accordance with Company’s policies.
