Role Description:
The Partner Marketing team is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Field Marketing Manager to oversee our conference and expo strategy. This role will be responsible for planning and managing conferences and trade show participation with a focus on merchant engagement, brand awareness and revenue growth. You will work closely with sales, channel partners and other key stakeholders to develop field marketing campaigns focused on generating midmarket pipeline opportunity.
The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with excellent communication and reporting skills and a passion for delivering high-quality events while working within an industry-leading partnership ecosystem. This role reports to the Director of Partner Marketing.
What you’ll do:
- Run the strategy, planning, and execution of high-impact field marketing initiatives across major industry trade shows, conferences, and exclusive partner events to drive pipeline acceleration, brand visibility, and executive engagement.
- Own end-to-end event operations including sponsorship negotiations, keynote and panel speaking opportunities, venue and vendor management, budget oversight, and on-site execution.
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, partnerships, and sales leadership to define target account strategies, audience segmentation, and co-marketing opportunities that align with business goals.
- Develop compelling event content and campaigns from pre-event promotions to post-event follow-ups including email sequences, social media activations, landing pages, and registration flows.
- Architect event agendas and run-of-show logistics, ensuring seamless coordination across internal teams, external stakeholders, and executive participants.
- Oversee attendee experience from registration through post-event engagement, ensuring high satisfaction and conversion outcomes.
- Analyze event performance and ROI, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to optimize future programs and influence broader marketing strategy.
- Cultivate strategic relationships with external partners, industry influencers, and key stakeholders to amplify brand presence and deepen channel alignment.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the evolution of field marketing best practices, tools, and processes across the organization.

What you’ll bring to the table:
- 3 years of in-person conference and tradeshow planning experience required.
- Executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to represent the brand at high-profile events and engage C-level stakeholders.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a track record of managing complex logistics and multiple concurrent projects.
- A strategic mindset paired with a hands-on approach. Comfortable navigating ambiguity, solving problems, and driving outcomes independently.
- Ability to scale impact through systems and delegation, leveraging automation, agency support, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Passion for creative storytelling and brand design, with a commitment to excellence in visual presentation and audience engagement.
- Experience with marketing automation (HubSpot preferred) and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) to track performance and optimize workflows.
- A data-driven approach to decision-making, with fluency in budget management, performance metrics, and stakeholder reporting.

ShipBob believes in transparency while providing a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance approach. We are targeting a salary range of $X - $X for this role. The full base pay range for this position in our compensation architecture is $98,708 - $164,513. In addition to base salary, this role includes the opportunity to be eligible for participation in the Company's discretionary bonus plan based on Company's plans and in accordance with Company’s policies.
