About the Opportunity:
Reports to: Senior Manager, Business Intelligence & Analytics
Department: Revenue Operations
The Revenue Operations Analyst will collaborate across departments at ShipHawk to facilitate internal revenue operations, sales and marketing analysis, and sales / finance functions of the business. They will be responsible for providing analysis and actionable insights from the top to the bottom of the customer funnel, from a diverse set of data sources that cover the entire customer lifecycle. The ideal Analyst candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills along with a sense of curiosity and drive to look deeper into the data available, extract valuable insights, and present them to others in a concise and understandable manner.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within a RevOps team focused on Internal Revenue Operations: Sales, Marketing, Account Management, and Finance
- Perform sales finance functions: customer onboarding, invoice draft generation, pre deal desk approval review, and monthly revenue audit
- Evaluate and implement improvements in workflow between customer-facing and backing applications.
- Perform sales analysis and operations and implement improvements: Salesforce administration, pipeline analysis, assist with establishing and tracking KPIs and other key metrics
- Drive process improvements and manage day-to-day functions of Salesforce, including automations, reporting, data integrity, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Act as first Point of Contact for Revenue Teams
- Advise teams and system owners with middleware processes that fill in gaps between cloud-based data sources
- Design, drive adoption and implement new processes and tools cross functionally to support Revenue Team goals
- Provide training and support to revenue teams on adopted systems/tools and expectations; ensure data integrity to support timely/accurate reporting
- Support manager with data integrity of revenue tools (Currently: Looker, Outreach, HubSpot, Salesforce, Chili Piper, PandaDoc, Zapier and LinkedIn Navigator)
- Collaborate with FP&A team to ensure the right insights are tracked; flagging any risks or opportunities that relate to Revenue Team goals
- Identify and recommend areas for revenue improvement to maximize new revenue generation and net revenue retention.
- Support revenue recognition, billing, and collections process with FP&A Team
- Support Finance with Revenue Team commissions and underlying data integrity
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Position Requirements:
- 1 -3 years experience, preferably in a revenue operations or analyst role within a hyper-growth SaaS environment
- We welcome applications from recent graduates in Business, Economics Majors
- CRM Administrator experience required (e.g. Salesforce, Hubspot, Pipedrive)
- Business Intelligence tool (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
- Bachelor’s degree in business-related field
- Proficiency in Excel or Sheets, strong logical reasoning and data manipulation skills
- Strong understanding of cloud-based software data structures and workflows
- Ability to work in a highly dynamic, constantly changing environment
- Curiosity to explore and assume new areas of responsibilities

- Salary Range: $69,000 - $85,000 (based on location and experience)
