Shop Around the Corner is an independent bookstore that was founded in 1926 in New York, NY. We have since grown to have stores across the United States and Europe. We believe in the power and longevity of the written word. And we believe that books influence thought. Through our carefully curated selection, we hope to create a space for our community to continue to learn and grow as readers.

Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator. This role is crucial for supporting the marketing department in executing effective strategies to boost brand awareness and drive sales. The Marketing Coordinator will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure cohesive communication and campaign success.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
• Coordinate and organize promotional events and materials.
• Manage social media accounts and engage with followers.
• Monitor analytics and report on campaign performance.
• Collaborate with designers, writers, and other team members to create engaging content.
• Maintain and update marketing databases and documentation.

Required skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a marketing or communications role.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital marketing tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
