About the role… 

ShopMy is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Associate for our HR/Corporate support team. Reporting into our VP, People, you will be our first hire for our NYC Headquarters and a key teammate in office management and executive support. Based in New York City, you’ll be an essential part of ShopMy, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office while also supporting our CEO and President with scheduling and other administrative tasks. This role requires a client-centric personality, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to juggle a variety of tasks—whether it's managing in-office needs, greeting clients, hosting candidates, or scheduling meetings and events. You’ll need to balance office support with 4-6 hours of executive scheduling work each week, all while bringing a positive, can-do attitude to everything you do!

This role is the face of ShopMy- being in our HQ 5 days a week.

The base salary compensation for this role will be between $65,000 - $75,000 annually.

Roles and responsibilities…

  • Oversee day-to-day office needs, including managing office supplies, coordinating with building management, and ensuring the office is welcoming and organized.

  • Proactive management of complex calendars to ensure effective and efficient day to day scheduling

  • Oversight of multiple executive email inboxes to ensure prompt replies and maintaining of business needs

  • Partnership with Talent team on scheduling interviews and hosting candidates

  • Partnership with the VP of People in onboarding of new employees- virtually and in office.

  • Assist in planning company events, offsites, holiday parties or similar celebrations. 

  • Help create an employee recognition program

  • Ensure employee milestones are met and celebrated- birthdays, anniversaries and milestones.

  • Ad-hoc projects across the organization as necessary

  • Maintain project timelines to ensure completion.

  • Executive support of our CEO and President as required

  • Must be based in New York City, with the ability to work from the office 5 days a week

  • 1-2 years of administrative support or office management experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills

  • Expert in Google Suites, Zoom & Microsoft Office

  • Fierce “can-do” attitude and mindset- no ask is impossible!

  • Team-first mentality

  • Superb client centricity

  • History of creative problem solving

 

Additional skills and attributes we’re hoping to find…

  • HR, Recruitment or People Operations experience

  • Knowledge of the creator economy and affiliate marketing

  • Ability to execute under tight deadlines and urgent requests

  • Passion for cultivating culture and inclusivity

New York Pay Range

$65,000 - $75,000 USD
