Dental Assistant - Sarasota (Full Time)

Tarpon Shores Dental, located in beautiful Sarasota, Florida is part of a small emerging DSO committed to delivering the highest standards of dental care to the Sarasota community. 

As a Dental Assistant on our team, you'll play a vital role in delivering top-notch oral health services in a supportive and innovative environment. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of DA experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean and prepare operatory rooms.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies and equipment.
• Assist with hygiene, as needed.
• Taking dental radiographs (if licensed).
• Taking patient medical history, blood pressure and pulses.
• Serving as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocols and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Helping patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.
• Entering patient information into charting system.
• Handling reception/seating/and dismissal of patients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of dental experience required.
• EFDA with implant placement and restoration experience preferred.
• A passion for the dental industry.
