Global Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: This role requires two days in office in our Chicago or Boston office

About the position 

As a Global AP Specialist at Showpad, you will join a dynamic team within an international company. As part of the finance team, you will need strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. We believe in the power of collaboration, so you must be a team player who can plan and organize workload effectively alongside the Accountant. We are looking for someone with strong problem analysis and problem-solving skills. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Accounting. 

Key responsibilities as Global AP Specialist at Showpad 

• Review and enter al A/P invoices maintaining the A/P email inbox (domestic and international) 
• Upload and paying open A/P through several banks and through the ACH process
• Review and approve PO’s in Zip that feeds into NetSuite 
• Review and approve expense reports in Raydoo that feeds into NetSuite
• Review and approve Navan travel bills 
• Reconcile company credit cards and post timely into NetSuite 
• Suggest vendor accruals at month end to the Asst. Controller 
• Ensure all vendors are 1099 compliant, process 1099’s yearly 

Skills and Qualifications we are looking for 

• Associates degree or equivalent (3 or more years in A/P) in Accounting 
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices 
• Previous experience with international accounts payable 
• Knowledge bill.com or equivalent systems 
• Accurate expense coding, high volume invoices 
• Problem solving skills 
• Like to work in a great team in a fast paced organisation 
• Eager to learn, willing to have impact on a company 
• Take responsibility over the work done
