What You'll Do

We are hiring an HR Generalist who will be responsible for the daily HR functions within our Birmingham, AL office.  In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring a collaborative team environment, acting as a resource for team members, assisting with DE&I initiatives, supporting the onboarding process for new employees, and maintaining positive employee relations.  You will also be responsible for conducting performance reviews, overseeing employee attendance, and other related duties, as needed.  You will also work closely with the Head of People and Corporate Recruiting team to understand the Firm's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.  

What You Need

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.  Strong organizational skills and great attention to detail are key!
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  The ability to manage interpersonal relationships at all levels is crucial for success!
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or Software.
  • Ability to quickly learn the organizations Paycor HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Bachelor's in Human Resources or related field (Required)
  • Human Resources experience - 1 year (Required)
