Client Services Specialist

At Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys, we’re expanding our search to professionals from diverse industries who are ready to bring their skills to the legal field. No prior legal experience is required—we’ll provide comprehensive training.
This is a 100% on-site position at our Birmingham, AL office located at 2201 4th Ave N in downtown Birmingham.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage Cases: Oversee personal injury cases through pre-litigation phases, ensuring smooth and efficient case progression.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, answering questions, and building trust throughout the process.
- Collaborate with Attorneys: Work closely with attorneys to gather necessary information, manage documents, and support case strategies.
- Stay Organized: Handle large volumes of case files, deadlines, and communication with accuracy and consistency.
- Problem-Solve: Identify and address challenges proactively to keep cases moving forward.
What You Need:
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of successful, professional work experience in a client-focused, administrative, or operational role (e.g., teaching, customer service, healthcare admin, hospitality management, insurance claims, etc.).
- Job Stability: we want someone who sticks around for the long haul.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in previous roles with measurable results and strong job stability.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with a professional and empathetic approach to client interactions.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and maintain detailed records.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn new software systems.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn legal processes and terminology through our structured training program.
What We Provide:
- Comprehensive Training: Full training on legal terminology, processes, and case management best practices.

- Competitive Compensation: $25/hour base ($52k/year) + uncapped commission plan (~$1,000–$3,000/month on average).
