SI-BONE® is focused on helping patients in one of the most under-served, under-diagnosed, and under-treated areas in orthopedics, the sacroiliac (SI) joint. SI-BONE developed an innovative, patented implant to fuse the SI joint. The iFuse Implant System® provides a less invasive alternative to traditional sacroiliac (SI) joint fusion surgery and has been used in over 90,000 procedures to date.

General Responsibilities: 

The Associate Product Manager will play a key role in managing commercialized product lines and overseeing post-market product surveillance to drive business growth and expand product utilization. This individual will engage in both upstream and downstream product management activities while supporting business development initiatives. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Associate Product Manager will ensure the continued success of SI-BONE’s core product lines and help identify and evaluate new opportunities to grow the company’s portfolio. The ideal candidate is a proactive, high-energy contributor who brings passion, curiosity, and a hands-on approach to every aspect of the product marketing process.

The Associate Product Manager must always act and conduct company business in an honest, ethical and strictly legal manner, complying with the Code of Conduct, other company policies, the AdvaMed Code and all applicable laws and regulations, whether national, regional, state or local. Responsible for performing all duties in compliance with all applicable worldwide regulatory requirements as included in the scope of the SI-BONE Quality Manual.

Specific Responsibilities and Skills:

  • Manage the development and execution of marketing plans, ensuring alignment with overall brand goals and marketing strategy. Facilitate rapid sharing of best practices across functions and regions.
  • Monitor brand and market performance of core business products; analyze issues and develop action plans within the annual operating framework. Support franchise budget planning, including travel, promotion, and advertising allocations.
  • Lead post-market product feedback surveillance as the central recipient of customer and NSP input. Evaluate and determine appropriate actions—such as issuing technical bulletins or NSPs—and document rationale for all decisions.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of competitor activities, customer needs, technology trends, and therapy adoption relevant to SI-BONE’s portfolio. Provide insights to regional and global teams and recommend updates to marketing plans based on market dynamics.
  • Support the development of key marketing communications for core products. Partner with cross-functional teams and agencies to refine messaging, secure global and regional approvals, and track campaign effectiveness to strengthen differentiation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with KOLs and collaborate with sales and marketing partners to identify key champions. Develop internal and external advocacy structures, provide sales team support, and participate in major customer events.
  • Develop global training objectives and plans in partnership with the training team. Ensure dissemination of marketing collateral to sales teams and KOLs, and serve as a key resource for product-related inquiries.
  • Manage content planning, creation, and execution for core business initiatives. Track key performance metrics and assess sales force engagement and understanding of distributed content.
  • Align with cross-functional partners on marketing strategy, tools and assets, customer targeting, sales training, event co-marketing, and technology development priorities to ensure cohesive execution.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, regulatory, and commercial teams and design surgeons to develop and launch new products.
  • Collaborate with commercial and strategy teams to identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and growth initiatives aligned with the product roadmap. Conduct market research, support business case development, and contribute to go-to-market planning for new products or enhancements.
  • Support the SI-BONE Quality System.

Knowledge, Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum of 0-2 years of experience; or Master’s Degree.

Expertise and Attributes:

  • 1+ years of product management or product marketing or sales support experience, ideally in the medical device industry (a plus if in spine).
  • Experience in medical device, healthcare or another regulated field strongly desired (a plus if in spine).
  • Superior written and verbal communicator coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills. Strong presentation skills are critical.
  • Able to work in a high-performing team environment and possess a demonstrated ability to multi-task and accommodate changing priorities within compressed timelines.
  • Demonstrated self-starter, with ability to work independently and prioritize time and resources.
  • Proven track record of success and teamwork, with a strong dedication to excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Highly skilled with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 22 pounds.
  • Knowledge and familiarity of applicable regulations/standards (e.g. ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820, EU MDR 2017/745, ISO 14971) as required to perform the job function

Salary range:  $70,000 - $90,000. The compensation range for this position is specific to the location and is in good faith what SI-BONE expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
