Technical Sourcer
Technical Sourcer - (Contract)
Duration: 6 Months
As an Technical Sourcer, you’ll play a key role in building Sigma’s world-class AI engineering team. You’ll partner with AI leadership and recruiting teams to strategically identify, engage, and attract top-tier AI and ML talent—including research scientists, data engineers, applied ML engineers, and other specialists in the AI ecosystem. In this role, you’ll be a critical partner in fueling our rapid AI innovation and scaling efforts.
Your Responsibilities

Proactively identify and engage top AI/ML talent through diverse sourcing strategies, building a strong pipeline for immediate and future hiring needs.

Partner with AI, ML, and engineering leaders to deeply understand technical requirements, research priorities, and team structures.

Design and execute creative sourcing campaigns targeting AI-focused professionals from leading tech companies, research labs, academic programs, and startups.

Coordinate interviews, communicate effectively with AI candidates, and ensure a seamless candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Track, analyze, and optimize sourcing funnel metrics for response, conversion, and hire rates to refine AI-focused recruiting strategies.

Leverage tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, AI-focused platforms, Greenhouse, and emerging recruiting tech to find and engage top AI talent.

Help position Sigma as a leading destination for AI talent by staying engaged in AI/ML communities, conferences, and open-source projects.

Maintain up-to-date sourcing activity and candidate data in ATS systems to ensure reporting accuracy.
Qualifications

3+ years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience, with a strong focus on AI/ML, data science, and engineering talent.

Exceptional ability to collaborate with technical leaders and confidently work autonomously.

Demonstrated business acumen with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Deep familiarity with AI/ML industry trends, research pipelines, and technical skill sets.

Strong understanding of SaaS and startup environments; experience scaling technical teams in a high-growth context is a plus.

Proficiency with recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, and other sourcing tools; bonus points for AI-specific sourcing experience (GitHub, Kaggle, academic networks).

Proven success in creating diverse, high-quality pipelines and delivering measurable recruiting outcomes.

Passion for engaging top AI talent and helping build world-class AI/ML teams.
Additional Job details
The pay range for this position is $60/hr - $65/hr per hour.
