Head of Business Value Services

In-Office | Full-Time

As the Head of Business Value Services, you will lead and scale the Business Value Services (BVS) function at Sigma. Through the creation and company-wide enablement of value frameworks, methodologies, and resources — paired with direct engagement on strategic opportunities — you will play a critical role in driving net-new logos and the retention, expansion, and growth of our customers. This is a high-impact role focused on strategy, design, go-to-market alignment, and field enablement.

Reporting to the Global Head of Strategic Marketing, you will own the vision and roadmap for BVS while operationalizing the Sigma value framework across the customer lifecycle. You will be expected to help the GTM organization meet and exceed revenue and NDR targets, while tracking, analyzing, and communicating key metrics and business trends. This is a cross-functional role, working closely with Sales, Product, Presales, Customer Success, and Enablement. Your ability to lead through influence and cross-functional collaboration will be key to scaling BVS, demonstrating to customers the significant value and returns on investment with Sigma, and positioning Sigma as a key partner in our customers’ digital transformation journeys.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop and execute the vision and strategy for the Business Value Services organization, advancing the BVS practice through KPIs that track support against revenue and retention outcomes.
  • Develop and continually improve value-selling resources for the GTM organization — including the value framework, playbooks, discovery tools, ROI/TCO models, and reusable templates — and ship Sigma-based tooling that accelerates outputs at scale.
  • Partner with GTM stakeholders (Sales, Presales, Customer Success, Enablement) to build, operationalize, and scale value-based assets that support consistent value messaging and drive revenue growth.
  • Train and support the GTM organization on the value framework and value-selling best practices to drive net-new logos and the retention and expansion of existing customers.
  • Lead pre- and post-sale value-based discovery sessions and executive readouts to win strategic opportunities and quantify realized value.
  • Develop sophisticated, comprehensive value models (TCO, ROI, etc.) to quantify the business value created with an investment in Sigma.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on strategic deals, providing expertise, thought leadership, and insights into micro- and macro-level trends.
  • Build and deliver compelling, CxO-facing value assessment deliverables, actively collaborating across the GTM ecosystem.
  • Complete the feedback loop with Product and Product Marketing, sharing Voice of Field/Customer insights to inform templates, tooling, messaging, and roadmap priorities.

Qualifications We Need

  • 10+ years of professional experience in consultative, strategic, and analytical customer-facing roles (e.g., Value Engineering, Business Value Services, Management Consulting, IT Consulting, etc.).
  • Experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS startup environment.
  • Experience with production business intelligence solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving revenue and growth metrics.
  • Strategic mindset and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong executive presence and a proven track record of advising C-suite executives toward successful business outcomes.
  • Change management expertise and the ability to influence and motivate change.
  • Exceptional strategic consulting skill set, including discovery, analysis, financial modeling, communication and storytelling, persuasion, and project leadership.
  • Highly proficient in building financial models and presentations for C-suite executives.
  • Experience executing complex enterprise software sales engagements with large enterprises; familiarity with methodologies such as MEDDPICC/MEDDIC and Force Management is a plus.
  • Ability to travel for client-engagements (up to 50%).
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field required; MBA preferred.

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

A "recently separated veteran" means any veteran during the three-year period beginning on the date of such veteran's discharge or release from active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service.

An "active duty wartime or campaign badge veteran" means a veteran who served on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service during a war, or in a campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge has been authorized under the laws administered by the Department of Defense.

An "Armed forces service medal veteran" means a veteran who, while serving on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service, participated in a United States military operation for which an Armed Forces service medal was awarded pursuant to Executive Order 12985.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
