About Sigma

Sigma is the AI Apps and agentic analytics platform built on the cloud data warehouse. Business and technical teams use Sigma to explore live data, build intelligent applications, and automate critical workflows, all without moving data or breaking governance. Sigma supports a spreadsheet interface, SQL, Python, and native AI in a single governed workspace, giving every team the speed to act and IT the control to scale. Sigma is trusted by more than 2,000 customers, including AMD, Duolingo, Colgate-Palmolive, and JPMorgan Chase.

Sigma announced its $80M Series E financing in May 2026. The round was led by Princeville Capital, with new strategic investors Databricks Ventures, ServiceNow Ventures, and Workday Ventures participating alongside returning investors Altimeter Capital, Avenir Growth Capital, D1 Capital Partners, K5 Global, NewView Capital, Spark Capital, Sutter Hill Ventures, and XN. This milestone follows Sigma reaching $200M in annual recurring revenue in April 2026, with more than 100% year-over-year growth and 1.1 million new active users added in the latest fiscal year.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to join our Talent Team. You’ll work closely with Engineering, partnering with hiring managers across Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Platform, and AI to own full-cycle recruiting for some of the most technically complex and high-impact roles at the company.

You should know how to identify, engage, and close exceptional talent, build trusted relationships with engineering leaders, and be a genuine ambassador for Sigma's mission and engineering culture.

Please note, this role is on-site four days per week in our San Francisco or New York office.

What You'll Do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for the Engineering Team, partnering closely with leadership and hiring managers to deeply understand technical requirements, business priorities, then translate them into sharp job positioning and sourcing strategies
  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines through creative sourcing: LinkedIn, GitHub, Juicebox, conference networks, referral programs, niche communities, and more
  • Craft compelling outreach that cuts through the noise and speaks authentically to engineers
  • Ensure a consistent, high-quality candidate experience from first touch to offer
  • Use data to inform decisions by tracking pipeline metrics, conversion rates, time-to-fill, and offer acceptance trends to continuously improve recruiting performance
  • Contribute to employer branding efforts, including engineering blog content and organizing engineering talent meetups
  • Stay current on compensation benchmarks and partner with People Ops to make competitive, equitable offers
  • Build structured interviewing frameworks and equitable hiring practices

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 3–6 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally at a high-growth SaaS or data/AI company
  • Demonstrated success hiring for software engineering roles in competitive markets (SF and NYC)
  • Strong sourcing skills across multiple channels
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts well enough to have credible conversations with engineers and hiring managers
  • Data-driven mindset: you track your funnel, know your numbers, and iterate based on results
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with modern ATS platforms (Greenhouse, Ashby, or equivalent)
