Los Angeles, California, United States

In a world of noise, we find the signal — the pulse of potential. We weave the strands of talent, vision, and purpose into organizations that endure. Blending intelligence with intuition, we honor the human art of connection at the heart of every great company.

About the Job

We are partnered with a global consumer products organization on the search for a Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager to take on broader ownership across the company’s tax function.

The Mandate

This organization is very clear about what it is—and is not—seeking.

They are not looking for a hands-off tax leader or someone who wants to operate purely as a reviewer.

They are seeking a high-ownership tax manager who is willing to stay close to the work while also providing structure and judgment—particularly during close, filing, and audit cycles. The environment rewards accountability, rigor, and consistency.

  • Oversee sales and use tax, GST, and indirect tax compliance
  • Serve as a key contact for federal and state tax audits
  • Support tax planning initiatives and implementation
  • Lead and develop junior tax team members

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 7–10 years of progressive tax experience
  • Public accounting experience strongly preferred; Big 4 a plus
  • CPA preferred
  • Experience across corporate income tax with exposure to international and indirect tax
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
  • Clear operator mindset with comfort balancing execution and leadership

Location & Work Model
