About the Opportunity

We are partnered with a premium entertainment technology company on the search for its next Senior Vice President, Technology Innovation. This company designs and delivers proprietary immersive experience technology into venues operated by major entertainment partners across the Americas, and it is in the middle of its largest expansion to date.

The SVP joins the executive leadership team as the company’s technology visionary and its most senior technical voice. The role carries two mandates at once: deliver flawlessly on every venue being built today, and define what audiences will experience five years from now.

What You Will Own

A multidisciplinary organization spanning Engineering, Technology Operations, Project Management, Installation, Technical Services, Procurement, and Research & Development.

The full technical lifecycle of every partner venue: from the moment Business Development closes a deal and the partner hands over the space, through parts delivery, logistics, systems integration, video and projection, audio, motion and environmental effects, and proprietary platform systems, to commissioning and ongoing support.

The long-term technology and innovation roadmap, including next-generation formats, new immersive concepts, and the pilots that decide which ideas get built.

The relationship with global headquarters as the primary technology liaison for the Americas, aligning standards, priorities, and innovation initiatives across a global matrix organization.

Key Responsibilities

Technology and Operational Excellence

  • Ensure world-class delivery across every format and venue, from concept through engineering, construction, installation, commissioning, and proactive support.
  • Drive execution of major installation and deployment programs throughout the Americas, with accountability for on-time delivery of parts, logistics, and technology at every site.
  • Provide expert-level direction on video and projection systems, including video distribution, show control, and network infrastructure, and on hardware, software, and networking solutions including proprietary platform systems.
  • Oversee engineering documentation standards (Facility Impact, Bills of Material, rack elevations, single lines, network topology, O&M manuals) and testing, validation, and certification programs including Factory Acceptance Testing.
  • Partner with supply chain and manufacturing to ensure parts and systems are delivered reliably and on schedule.

Strategic Vision and Innovation

  • Establish and execute the long-term technology and innovation strategy in line with the company’s business objectives.
  • Identify emerging technologies, market trends, and new business opportunities; partner with executive leadership on growth strategy, investment priorities, and commercialization.
  • Lead development of next-generation immersive experiences, new formats, and premium concepts, and evaluate and pilot technologies that deepen audience engagement and partner value.

Global Partnership and Industry Leadership

  • Serve as the senior technology representative with partners, studios, strategic vendors, and industry organizations.
  • Build trusted executive relationships with major venue operators and key industry stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, customer engagements, and executive-level meetings throughout the Americas and internationally.

Organizational Leadership

  • Build, develop, and mentor high-performing teams; set engineering best practices; hold leaders accountable for results and growth.
  • Lead organizational change and the adoption of new technologies, processes, and operating models while keeping teams engaged and performing.
  • Serve as the subject matter authority on video, control, audio, and proprietary systems, both internally and with clients.

Who We Are Looking For

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership in entertainment technology, theatrical exhibition, audiovisual engineering, systems integration, themed or location-based entertainment, or a related hardware-driven industry, including 5 to 10 years leading multidisciplinary teams across engineering, operations, project management, customer support, and technology.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Systems, or related) required.
  • Deep technical fluency across digital projection, audio and immersive sound, show control and automation, content delivery, systems integration, premium large-format environments, and motion and environmental effects systems.
  • Proven success delivering complex capital projects and technology initiatives from R&D and strategic planning through deployment and ongoing operations.
  • Experience with supply chain and manufacturing operations.
  • A track record inside a global matrix organization, balancing regional priorities with corporate objectives and influencing stakeholders across countries, cultures, and functions.
  • Executive presence: a strategic partner to the CEO who is equally credible in a design review, on an installation floor, and in a boardroom.

Travel

Approximately 30%, domestic and international, including partner sites, installations, industry conferences, and global headquarters.
