What you’ll do
As a Frontend Engineer at Doctolib Siilo in our Amsterdam office, you’ll help us drive our web application forward, building and maintaining high quality care cooperation features within the Doctolib suite for healthcare professionals.
Your technical input is highly valued during feature design sessions with the Product Manager and UX Design team, both to improve and simplify the final ideas. You'll be involved in the technical design of new features, and help implement these together with the team.
We value certain aspects of Scrum, such as the morning stand-up and retrospective, but at the same time strive to maintain a pragmatic approach, minimising meetings and prioritising developer happiness to the fullest.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Building, owning and maintaining the care cooperation features in the Doctolib suite using React and Typescript, with some occasional maintenance of Doctolib Siilo’s web companions written in Angular.
- Occasionally contributing to backend services in Java or Ruby on Rails, demonstrating flexibility and full-stack capabilities to help deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Collaborating with your peers working on mobile, web and Java backend building a highly scalable product and an awesome experience for our 1M users and contributing directly to growing Doctolib Siilo's network of healthcare professionals.
- Working quality-first, test-driven and keeping security and privacy front and center to everything you do.
- The full development life cycle, including communicating with stakeholders (for instance product, design, QA) throughout the development process, as well as debugging production issues.
Who you are
Are you convinced that you have exactly what it takes for the position? Then we encourage you to apply. Even if you don't meet every requirement, you might be exactly the right future Doctoliber for this or other positions!

- Experience with complex frontend codebases, preferably in React and Typescript.
