
Full Time Nexus Specialist (AM)

We are currently seeking a Nexus Specialist who is passionate about making a difference for our Encinitas Community! The Nexus Specialist supports the Nexus Neighborhood by planning and facilitating meaningful activities aligned with resident interests and the Nexus Pillars. This role works closely with the Director of Resident Engagement to develop calendars, lead programs, coordinate outings, and support resident-family communication.
Shift Schedule: Full-Time, AM Shift, Tuesday - Saturday

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience with activity planning, older adults, or memory care is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and a passion for enhancing resident well-being
- This role requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record as a condition of employment. Associates must comply with all state and federal driving regulations
- Associates in roles requiring driving are responsible for maintaining a valid and active driver’s license. Failure to maintain a valid license may result in reassignment, suspension, or termination in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- You may be required to work outside of your regular hours depending on business needs
What you'll be doing:
- Plan and lead daily activities and community outings
- Foster resident engagement through hobbies, social connections, and purposeful involvement
- Support resident participation in volunteer opportunities and community partnerships
- Assist with conflict resolution and promote a positive, inclusive environment
- Collaborate on Nexus marketing events and provide photos for social media and family updates
- Assist with pet care in the Nexus neighborhood
- Maintain flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned

$25 - $25 USD
