We’re hiring an Activities Director (Nexus Program Director) – a visionary and compassionate leader who brings creativity, purpose, and engagement to our residents’ daily lives. This role blends innovation, empathy, and leadership to deliver brain-healthy programming through our signature Nexus initiative.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Oversee the Nexus Neighborhood program – Silverado’s innovative approach to supporting residents in the early stages of dementia through brain-healthy living
- Partner with all departments to develop and deliver engaging, personalized resident programs
- Manage program budgets and spending
- Support residents emotionally and socially through frequent check-ins and personalized engagement
- Develop monthly calendars, coordinate transportation for outings, and schedule family-inclusive events
- Promote Nexus through branding, sales, and marketing efforts, including in-services and professional outreach
- Conduct or co-market sales calls with physicians, geriatric care managers, and other professionals
- Lead and develop a high-performing engagement team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- Experience in long-term care management or related field preferred
- Background in social recreation programming strongly preferred
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience, including team development and conflict resolution
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Comfortable working with animals and pets
- Flexibility to work outside regular hours based on business needs
- Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)

Anticipated pay range
$75,000 - $80,000 USD
