We’re hiring a Revenue Cycle Specialist – a detail-oriented and collaborative professional who ensures timely and accurate hospice billing across multiple sites.

You’re a billing expert with a strong understanding of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines. You thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy solving complex billing challenges, and bring precision and accountability to every step of the revenue cycle.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Prepare and submit Notices of Election, Notices of Termination/Revocation, and daily billing using EDI and manual data entry
- Utilize AR Aging reports, Activity Reports, Cash Posting Reports, and Remittance Advice/Explanation of Benefits
- Monitor claim status and address rejections, returned claims, and denials promptly
- Document claims status and collection activities in the AR system, setting and completing follow-ups
- Identify issues causing claim rejections or denials and request necessary information from sites or management
- Prepare and submit effective Provider Dispute Resolution (PDR) requests and appeals
- Post cash and analyze cash application transactions, including CARC and RARC codes
- Independently research issues, determine root causes, and escalate to management when needed
- Stay current on Medicare guidelines for hospice billing to ensure compliance
- Manage timely filing of claims and appeals within contractually defined terms
- Perform additional duties and special projects assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience; hospice billing experience preferred
- Medical Billing & Coding Certification preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare hospice billing guidelines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software quickly
- Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards

$30 - $40 USD
