THE OPPORTUNITY

Silvus is seeking an International Support Logistics Associate who will be responsible for shipping, receiving, and coordinating/maintaining loan inventory, as well as handling RMAs and other sales-related activities. Additionally, the role will involve the planning of logistics for trade shows and other sales-related activities.

This position reports to the Senior Sales Engineer and is full-time, on-site, daily, Monday through Friday. The location for this role is at Silvus’ shipping center in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The following is a list of at least some of the current essential job functions of the position. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time at its discretion.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the scheduling of loan inventory via specialized software systems such as Excel and CRM tools.
  • Manage the cleaning, configuration, preparation, and shipping of loan radios and accessories.
  • Receive, unpack, and process internal RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations).
  • Coordinate the return of products for repair.
  • Review and coordinate customer account setup and related paperwork.
  • Assist with RMA shipments as needed.
  • Oversee all aspects of outbound international shipments, including inspection, packing, and paperwork preparation.
  • Maintain and manage Loan Inventory facilities and associated items.
  • Unpack and inspect incoming packages, ensuring all items are properly accounted for.
  • Manage inventory of packaging materials. 
  • Handle the packaging of products for shipment, as well as the coordination of transportation and carrier services.
  • Ensure on-time delivery schedules and provide tracking information for all shipments.
  • Generate metrics reports for loans and RMAs.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and event coordination related to international trade shows.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum completion of secondary education (such as GCSEs or an equivalent national qualification; high school diploma or GED). 
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with shipping, receiving, and logistics.
  • 1 year of experience with customer service and/or administrative coordination.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Effectively handle tasks and projects independently, requiring minimal direction.
  • Proficient internet skills, including the use of email, group messaging, and digital data collection.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, etc.).
  • All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Experience with FedEx, UPS, and DHL systems and software.
  • Experience shipping commercial goods to international destinations.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Demonstrate a strong focus on maintaining cleanliness in all work areas.
  • Demonstrated interest in learning about highly technical products and new software systems.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Office environment.
  • Outdoor environment for demonstrations.
  • Occasional exposure to heat, cold, and allergens while performing tests or demonstrations in the field.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to do the following:
    • Lift equipment up to 20 lbs. for the set-up of demonstrations and testing.
    • Perform bending and reaching movements to place items on lower and higher shelves.
    • Kneeling or squatting to access lower shelves.
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. when receiving incoming part shipments.
    • Walking/Moving in the labs.

COMPENSATION

The pay range is NOT a guarantee. It is based on market research and peer data, and will vary depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

US Pay Range

$21 - $25 USD
