THE OPPORTUNITY

Silvus Technologies is seeking a Marketing & Events Coordinator to help take our brand, products, and solutions to the next level in support of the company’s growth goals and objectives. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and working as a key member of the marketing team, this position works closely with Sales, Sales Administration, Finance, and other cross-functional teams. 

In this role, the Marketing & Events Coordinator will lead tradeshow and event planning to successfully plan, manage, and execute multiple in-person and virtual events throughout the year. In addition, the position works across diverse marketing initiatives, from managing the brand's creative asset library to creating engaging content for social media and the Silvus website to producing sales enablement materials and providing support for campaigns across marketing and communication channels. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, scheduling, and project management skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure effective coordination and execution. 

This position is on a hybrid schedule; a minimum of 3 days onsite per week is expected. On-site days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The location for this role is Silvus Technologies’ HQ in the heart of vibrant West Los Angeles.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Tradeshow & Event Coordination: Partner with the Marketing Team and Sales Directors to develop and manage the tradeshow calendar and budget. Lead, manage, and execute all tradeshow-related activities to ensure a successful event. Coordinate booth sponsorship and logistics with the event organizer and external vendors while actively managing the marketing asset inventory. Create show-specific marketing content, social media posts, and other on-site marketing activities. Develop post-show analysis, shipment tracking, and expense analysis to ensure budget and ROI optimization. 
  • Marketing Coordination: Provide day-to-day support to the marketing team, participating in team meetings and contributing to translating strategic objectives into tactical marketing activities and on-brand marketing content. Develop, write, edit, and coordinate marketing content for social media, the Silvus website, blog, and other marketing communication channels. Develop and manage the brand creative asset library and serve as the primary point of contact for delivering these assets to channel sales, partners, and resellers.
  • Sales Support Coordination: Provide ongoing support to the Sales Team, Sales Administration Team, and other cross-functional teams as needed. Identify and execute improvements for processes, content, and marketing support activities. Develop and maintain inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all are current and accurate while coordinating the creation of new materials when necessary.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Advertising, or related field. 
  • Minimum 2 years as a marketing coordinator or supporting a marketing team.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience developing, coordinating, and managing tradeshows, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail and a bias for action to set and meet project deadlines.  
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills: Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of industry-standard graphics programs and formats, including Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and others. 
  • Working knowledge and interest in social media platforms and digital content creation & publishing, including blogs and email marketing.    
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with collaborative project management tools such as Confluence and Monday.com.

NOTE - Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts. Employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Able to work independently across multiple projects simultaneously and drive projects from ideation to successful completion.
  • Interest and experience in identifying new marketing trends that can be leveraged to drive business growth goals.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • May require travel up to 1 week per month.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Trade shows – able to stand for extended periods and lift objects (up to 30 lbs.).
  • Outdoor environments - customer demos or events.

COMPENSATION

The pay range is NOT a guarantee. It is based on market research and peer data, and will vary depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

CA Pay Range

$69,000 - $75,000 USD
