THE OPPORTUNITY
The Supply Chain Analyst position reports to the Supply Chain Manager within the Production team. The successful individual in this role will help with supply chain analysis, planning, procurement, and inventory management. In order to be successful in this role, the candidate will need strong analytical skills, be detail-oriented, and quickly adapt to a dynamic supply chain environment and rapid product demand changes.
This position is on a hybrid schedule; a minimum of 3 days on-site per week is expected. On-site days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The location for this role is Silvus Technologies’ HQ in the heart of vibrant West Los Angeles.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand product constructs, manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, and their interdependence.
- Work alongside the supply chain manager and buyers to understand the lead time of components and sub-contractor services.
- Work alongside the Manufacturing and Sales teams to capture and understand demand forecasts.
- Use analytical and advanced spreadsheet skills to plan for material and service requirements based on demand forecasts and lead time without an ERP or MRP system.
- Quickly adapt to sudden demand and/or lead time changes and reformulate purchasing requirements.
- Create purchase orders, review open orders, track on-time delivery, expedite with suppliers, and/or escalate any critical paths with management.
- Liaise with Receiving, Warehouse, Shipping, Production, Quality, Engineering, and Sales teams to support requirements and avoid line downs and missed shipments.
- Support Warehouse Clerk to maintain accurate inventory counts and help with cycle counts and consigned kits.
- Request quotes and help negotiate costs and lead times.
- Maintain item master with latest prices and lead times.
- Work with suppliers on escalations and corrective actions.
- Work with the Finance team and suppliers to resolve AP discrepancies.
- Assist with any other ad-hoc task assigned by leads/managers to support the team as necessary.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Math, Physics, Engineering, or another field.
- Strong analytical and math skills, including proficiency with numeracy and formulas.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
- Efficiency in analyzing different hypothetical scenarios to support risk/benefits analysis and decision-making.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced office environment, experiencing multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (VLOOKUPs, subtotals, macros, etc.).
- Excellent and effective oral and written communication.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Relevant experience in electronics manufacturing and supply chain.
- Self-motivated with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
COMPENSATION
The pay range is NOT a guarantee. It is based on market research and peer data, and will vary depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
CA Pay Range
$70,000 - $80,000 USD
