As a Data Analyst at Simplify360 (A Nextiva Company), you will play a pivotal role in extracting, transforming, and visualizing data from various sources to provide valuable insights that drive strategic and operational decisions. Your expertise in SQL, Power BI, BigQuery, and dashboard creation will be essential in building interactive and user-friendly visualizations that communicate complex information effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, business goals, and analytical needs
• Design and implement data models, queries, and transformations using Snowflake and SQL to extract relevant data from diverse sources
• Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines to ensure accurate and timely data processing
• Clean, preprocess, and validate data to ensure data quality and integrity throughout the analysis process
• Create compelling and intuitive dashboards using Power BI that provide actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels
• Translate business requirements into visually appealing charts, graphs, and interactive visualizations
• Monitor dashboard usage and performance, making improvements and updates as necessary
• Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data analytics and visualization

Qualifications:

• 8 or more years proven experience as a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or similar role in a Product & Engineering Team, with a strong focus on data visualization and dashboard creation
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related disciplines. Master's degree is a plus
• Proficiency in Snowflake and SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and transformation
• Extensive hands-on experience with Power BI, including handling several data sources and creating interactive dashboards and reports
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
• Experience with other data visualization tools and programming languages required (e.g., Python, Golang, Tableau, R)
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and high-quality work
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of basic statistics
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup, preferred
