We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a key role in building, maintaining, and scaling our infrastructure, supporting our product engineers, and implementing AIOps strategies to enhance automation and intelligence in our operations. This role is perfect for someone with deep technical expertise in automation, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps principles, who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will work across teams to ensure our systems are reliable, scalable, and optimized for both performance and efficiency, leveraging AIOps tools to proactively monitor, detect, and resolve issues using AI and machine learning.

As a senior member of the team, you will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and influence the direction of our DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable and secure cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Monitor and improve system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of production systems.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and application issues in production and staging environments.
• Enhance system observability through improved logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, ELK), and integrate AIOps platforms to enable predictive analytics and automated anomaly detection.
• Implement security best practices for cloud and on-prem infrastructure, including compliance with regulatory standards, and use AIOps tools to detect and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Lead disaster recovery planning and implement backup and failover strategies.
• Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS) and related services (e.g., Compute, Cloud Storage, CloudSQL, GKE).
• Advanced scripting and programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Go) for automation and tooling.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
• Experience with security best practices in DevOps, including managing secrets, IAM policies, and compliance standards.
