Job Description 

As the Paid Media Executive for SimpliSafe you will play an important, hands-on role across the performance channels for the UK team. You will be working very closely with the Paid Media Manager and another Paid Media Executive to develop the performance channels for the UK business, continuing to grow the brand in the home security sector with a bang! The role will enable you to create exciting, daring and bold campaigns across Paid Social, PPC and Display, working closely with the Brand team to ensure our ads are aligned with other channels such as Organic Social. You will also manage and report on campaigns based on the company’s KPIs such as sales, leads, cost per acquisition and cost per lead. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Build and manage campaigns across Paid Social, PPC and Display, with a focus on Paid Social. 
  • Keep the accounts optimised with day-to-day, hands-on tasks such as audience testing, creative reviews and performance analysis across Meta and TikTok. 
  • Monitor and report on performance with an emphasis on metrics such as CPA and CPL 
  • Optimise channels to meet KPI targets whilst keeping to monthly budgets 
  • Plan, run and evaluate tests across Paid Social campaigns, including creative formats, platform placements and audience strategies. 
  • Use historical data to react and improve performance 
  • Demonstrate the impact of the performance channels on the wider business 
  • Work closely with the Brand team to plan campaigns, with a focus on creatives and ad copy 
  • Reporting monthly on creative performance and ability to see trends and action according to data. 
  • Work closely with the CRM team to utilise data across the performance channels for audience and retargeting purposes 
  • Build strong relationships with our Meta and TikTok Account Managers to ensure that our accounts are fully optimised and are following best-practices 
  • Monitor trends in the home security market and proactively research betas within platforms such as Meta and TikTok 
  • Research other social platforms such as Pinterest to trial new formats and expand reach across Paid Social 

Personal Specification 

  • Hands-on experience across Paid Social in one or more channels including Meta and/or TikTok. 
  • Bonus if experienced in Paid Search including Google Ads, Bing etc. 
  • Experience of multiple performance channels is preferable but not required 
  • Track record of planning and executing Paid Social campaigns 
  • Strong understanding of the impact of paid media on consumer behaviour and how it drives engagement through to acquisition and retention 
  • Analytical skills and the ability to see key patterns and trends in data 
  • Ability to report on performance and to understand the impact of changes 
  • Understanding of the relationship of channels across a business, both paid and organic
  • Creative flair and an interest in asset creation (UGC)
  • A strong interest in learning and developing their skills across a broader range of paid media channels
  • Ability to collaborate with other areas of the business such as Brand and CRM
  • Bonus if experienced in using Google Analytics and Google Data Studio.
