Business Application Data Analyst

Summary

This role plays a critical role in analyzing, optimizing, and supporting business application teams to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role bridges the gap between technical systems and business needs to deliver actionable insights, improved processes, and measurable value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret complex data to generate insights on products sales, discounts, trends, gaps to help marketing and sales teams
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders, delivering clarity on matrics such as revenue, collections and business performance 
  • Collaborate with product owners, engineering, operations and leadership teams to translate data-driven insights into actionable strategies that improve business performance
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by developing processes to regularly audit and clean datasets
  • Work closely with the Data Engineer and Data Science team
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement solutions for process improvements and new data requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with 4 - 7 years of experience in data analytics, preferably in product analytics 
  • Proficiency in SQL querying, Snowflake database and comfortable working with data tables and large datasets
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Sisense, Tableau, Looker or similar
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to solving business challenges through data analysis
  • Working knowledge of setting up data pipelines using Rudderstake, Fivetran or similar
  • Familiarity with data governance and best practices for data management
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders

  • Results-oriented with a strong attention to detail
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication and problem solving skills

  • Remote - 100% remote. Role can be done anywhere within your country of hire, as long as the requirements of the role are met.
