About the Role

We are looking for a Research Operations Specialist to join our growing team and help scale how we run, manage, and share user research across the organization. This role will be critical in ensuring that research is accessible, efficient, and impactful—enabling product managers, designers, and stakeholders to build customer and end-user-informed solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage customer lists & panels: Maintain, segment, and update databases of customers and participants for ongoing research efforts.
  • Recruit participants: Partner with customer experience, product, and design teams to identify target users, coordinate outreach, and schedule participants for studies.
  • Set up & manage a research repository: Build and maintain a centralized, searchable repository of research insights to ensure teams can easily access and leverage past findings.
  • Create & manage a persona library: Develop, maintain, and evolve a library of user personas that reflect customer needs and behaviors, ensuring they are regularly updated and used effectively across teams.
  • Assist PMs with research management: Help product managers organize, track, and synthesize their research activities and findings for greater impact.
  • Create test plans & support design validation: Draft research plans, design test protocols, and assist with validating design concepts through customer feedback.
  • Run unmoderated tests & surveys: Set up, manage, and analyze unmoderated research through platforms such as UserTesting.com, along with customer surveys to gather quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • Evangelize research: Champion the value of research across the company by creating visibility, sharing insights broadly, and helping teams understand how to apply findings.
  • Optimize processes: Develop and streamline tools, templates, and workflows to make running research smoother and more scalable.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in research operations, user research, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with research platforms (e.g., UserTesting.com)
  • Experience creating research plans, surveys, and managing design validation activities.
  • Experience developing or managing user personas a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills—you know how to connect with both internal teams and external participants.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
  • Passion for making research scalable and impactful across an organization.

Why Join Us

  • Opportunity to shape the foundation of research operations at a growing company.
  • Work closely with talented designers, researchers, and product teams.
